The Hotel Trastevere, formerly known as the Antico Albergo Manara, is located in the center of Rome, right in the heart of Trastevere, the oldest and most characteristic district of the city.

The recently renovated 3-star hotel, overlooks the characteristic square of San Cosimato and is located few steps away from the wonderful and central square of Santa Maria in Trastevere, with its historic Basilica that houses a rich collection of mosaics and Cosmatesque floors .

The main entrance of the Hotel Trastevere is located in Via Manara, on the slopes of the Janiculum Hill. From the top of the Gianicolo, one of the original seven hills of the ancient city, there is one of the most breathtaking views of the Eternal City overlooking a carpet of about 900 churches and over 50 domes.

Great all round hotel

For the location and price Hotel Trastevere is hard to beat. Staff super helpful, rooms clean and fresh.
Excellent coffee and very pleasant breakfast - great croissants. Well run and professional hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Very Good location. Few minutes walk from Tram/Bus Stop. Few minutes walk also from Piazza Navona/Pantheon area.
The room was spacious. Everyday the room was serviced quite nicely. Very friendly and helpful staff.
